We reinvented a dated fireplace and added a built-in cabinet for a combination bar/servery in this client's new dining room. Removing the carpeted curved step and installing hardwood flooring improved the functionality of the space and added some contemporary elegance.
PAINT/WALLPAPER:
For this project, we used Benjamin Moore’s Silver Satin - silvery grey tones with a touch of warmth. Silver Satin has warmer grey tones - in North facing rooms appears a little cooler and more grey, while in South facing rooms its warmer tones show through without appearing beige.
Textured wallpaper added dimension to this space, and along with a custom designed vanity, elevated the style of the powder room.
We incorporated matte black fixtures and accessories in the bathrooms that contrast with the warm cabinetry and porcelain tile in our latest project. The modern and sophisticated cabinetry paired with the black accents breaks up the wood grain and adds dimension.
